A Message from our Cafeteria

As a parent of 3 I used to hear my children say afterschool “I’m starving they don’t feed us enough in the cafeteria,” but not anymore. Did you know that IC school has a great salad bar for our students and staff. The salad bar is open during both lunches and closes at 12:30PM Monday thru Thursday only. It has a great selection of greens, carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes, and shredded cheese. If your child is not eligible for hot lunch but would like to eat a salad the cost is only $2. We follow nutrition guidelines when it comes to serving the main entrée but the salad bar is a good addition for your child/ren to get some added food. Lunch is $3.35 per day.
I would also like to ask our parents to encourage your child/ren to take part in our School Breakfast Program. Breakfast is served between 7:30-8AM. We have added new hot breakfast items such as egg/cheese sandwich, breakfast pizza, burritos, pancakes, waffles and mini cinnis. Breakfast for students is $2.75 per day.
Every time your child participates in the lunch or breakfast program we receive funds from the state that go towards providing more items either for lunch or breakfast to the menu.
